What is the Bench n’ Run Fitness Challenge?
Every year gyms are flooded with those who have “lose weight,” or “get healthy” listed as a New Year’s Resolution. We’ve got your resolution solution right here! What’s the Fitness Challenge all about?

Educate – There’s a method to the madness. Science.

This isn’t just a fitness challenge, it’s an opportunity to have your baseline fitness foundation measured accurately. You will have your “starting” statistics measured by our top-of-the-line Tanita Fitness Assessment Scale. You will know what your body composition consists of, (how much lean muscle tissue your body carries and how much body fat you have), your resting metabolic rate will be established (how many calories your body requires daily just to “survive,”), your metabolic age, circumference measurements, cardiorespiratory output, resting heart rate, recovery heart rate, and your blood pressure measured.

Information is power and in order to make lasting changes in your body and your life, you have to know where you started, and once you complete the program, we will assess you again. You will see quantifiable progress. There is nothing worse than achieving any fitness goal without knowing exactly how you got there. We took all of the guesswork out of the equation for you. The program has been specifically designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase muscular strength and endurance, improve your range of motion and flexibility all the while reducing body fat and increasing lean muscle tissue.

When you train for a specific event, you will likely be working out “outside the box of you ‘comfort’ zone.” What does that do? Causes muscle confusion. What’s a by-product of muscle confusion? There are a few: Increased muscular strength and endurance, lost of visceral body fat, increase in lean muscle tissue, decreased risks of “overuse” injuries, increased cardiovascular endurance, lower resting heart rate, faster recovery heart rate, and an increase in your BMR. (Basal Metabolic Rate.) There’s nothing like a healthy fitness challenge that motivates you to work out. Here’s the catch. You will be working out effectively and efficiently. THAT’S a formula for LIFE. CHANGE.

Elevate – Become an Official High Roller

Most people who don’t run 5K races don’t do it for a reason. They don’t like running. They don’t run. They won’t run. This is a FUN-ctional Fitness Challenge. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting to see new results. We don’t want our Life Changers going insane. So for just six weeks out of your entire life, let us get you “back on track” by introducing you to new and exciting ways to train and whereby change your body.

Here are the nuts and bolts of the Bench n Run Fitness Challenge.

Register for the Bench ‘n Run 2018 Fitness Challenge in the studio. Schedule your first fitness assessment with Amy. Attend specialty classes carefully designed to improve your muscular strength and endurance on Thursdays and Saturdays with Manny and/or Amy You will also receive fitness tips via email specifically for this challenge. Train from January 15th – February 16.
